DATA PRIVACY AND PROTECTION
New General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (https://gdpr-info.eu) went into effect on May 25, 2018. The GDPR allows individuals in the EU greater control over their personal data and grants them a number of rights regarding how that data is processed, stored and accessed. We have designed our privacy policy to help you understand what information we gather, how we use and collect it, what we do to protect it, and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our service.
DMC Praha collects and processes your personal data including names, date of birth, contact details, passport numbers, gender, mobile numbers, dietary requirements, travel and flight information or any preferences related to your comfortable and safe stay. We can also collect identification information and bank details necessary for business and financial operation. Your personal data may be received by e-mail or by filling request form via our web pages. DMC Praha does not run any online system bookings. We only use your personal data where allowed by law.
The reason why DMC Praha uses your personal data is to process requests and provide services for our clients, especially hotel and meeting bookings, to inform clients about sudden changes and provide necessary support during their stay. We also need data to sign contracts between the Destination Management Company and the client or us and the third part (f.e. hotel). We share necessary information with hotels and very limited information with our tour guides. We also share data with cloud computing providers who provide the IT infrastructure on which our systems are built. Our web pages are hosted by Weebly, Inc. (“Weebly”). Weebly provides us with a platform that allows us to provide the service to you. We are using cookies, or small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier. We may use both persistent and session cookies. We do not sell, trade or rent your Personal Information.
The security of your data is our priority. We implement reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices in order to protect your Personal Information and ensure that such Personal Information is not accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such precautions. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks. Your data will be safely deleted when we no longer need them.
Our company reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. If we decide to change this Privacy Policy, we will post these changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. We suggest that you check this Privacy Policy periodically if you are concerned about how your information is used.
We respect all your rights mentioned under the GDPR. You have the right to access your data, correct or change them, request an erasure or restrict your data to being processed. If you wish to complain on how we have used your personal data, please contact our office by e-mail: [email protected] and we will investigate the matter within a 30 days period. Please feel free to contact us if you wish to obtain additional information regarding this Privacy Policy or the practices of this site.
